Cloud/Mountain

we operate under the certain knowledge that the earth has existed for hundreds of thousands of years.
and that these tables were here yesterday.
but what if that is wrong?
what if, in actuality, the earth and these tables are replaced each day by nearly exact versions.
but never exact.
some difference shifts in.
what if it isn’t each day, but each hour?
where does the table go when you aren’t looking at it?
did it just shift?
did i?
and in this way the people we know and love become strangers.
clouds become mountains and it snows in the desert.
i was never here.
i'm right here.

directed and designed by george mcconnell
devised by him and the performers: Justin Dodd.Samantha Johns.Grace Whitaker.
