we wrote to each other and not to each other for several months.
then we read what we wrote over and over again out loud for 24 hours.
we read it all 3 times.
we were in a garage in Minneapolis fall. 
we almost got frostbit.
i wanted to quit 3 times, but Sam yelled at me to keep going.
